Cover letter
I started working very early, during the months of school breaks and holidays throughout the year, from my 14 years of age, I worked at the cashier and managing the stock of a busy restaurant.
My motivation is always to perform a work of which I'm proud. My curiosity together with financial needs led me to work in several different activities. Earlier, beyond restaurants, I worked at a jockey club taking care of horses, I worked as a botanist caring for an experimental planting facility of Brazilian flora, and I even sold clothes in a shopping mall.
At the age of 19 I felt the need to expand my knowledge and I made a 18 months trip overseas that has taught me much more than english language. When I returned from this trip I started my career in the information technology field, I attended college and since 1996 I work with I.T.
In the year of 2011 I opened my own technology solution's company and I hope to continue delivering high quality work and to continue building excellent relationships with my clients and business partners, because I love what I do.
In all the work that I do I document the whole life cycle, we build and follow schedules. In the solutions I propose often I configure operating system and network services. In software developments, I build and implement the data model using tools as well as writing sql scripts, and I use diagrams where appropriated, the code is separated into layers and patterns are applied to reduce development costs and future maintenance.
Although I attend to courses to keep me updated on technologies, it is hands on that I learned most of my knowledge. Finally, each solution is unique, my focus is to meet the need of the customer in the best possible way.

Working experience
System Engineer at GH7 Solutions
January 2008 - Present (7 years 1 month)
I kept the whole I.T. infrastructure of Brazil's Codelco office, from octuber/2009 to July/2014. Computers, printers, video conferencing equipment, servers, routers, and other hardwares / softwares such as the vehicle fleet tracking system and antenna / modem to access the Internet in remote areas. I joined Codelco's networks in Rio de Janeiro's office and in the project's office at Pará (north Brazil) via Cisco VPN tunnel, and configure automatic backups on all computers and servers.
I implemented new modules in purchasing system to Phoenix consulting, integrated with SAP BO system.
I developed applications for Latitude 23, a web app to manage the supply chain database, a software to manage inventory in distributed network machines and integrated with legacy systems, and an application to automate the process of buying, assembling and importing container.

Senior System Engineer at DBA
April 2007 - December 2007 (9 months)
Our team developed and implemented a solution to the IBGE's PNAD survey, which involves: -One app written in C # for PDA (Windows Mobile 5.0) that executes a previously entered survey in the database (MsSqlServerCe), collecting the survey's output; -A Web service that is called by the PDA app to send data to the central database MSSQLSERVER. The PDA connects to the network by one of the stations via direct connection (USB cable) or via modem; -A Web service for integration with legacy systems, written in C #, to retrieve business data and to verify security validations; -One ETL (using DTS) to export the data from the central database to Oracle 10g, because some of the legacy applications performs crossover data in Oracle; I optimized data mining by creating indexes, views and even denormalizing tables to improve the performance.

I developed an ASP NET and C # application for the Ultimus BPM Software Company for Rexam, the database was MsSqlServer2005. I built the logical design of a software to be developed for Vale, within the Global PMO program, based on landmarks (improves visibility of projects accompanied by this tool). I developed a web interface to monitor vehicle's fleets for Advanced Brazil, using the Google Maps APIs in JavaScript, C # and database MsSqlServer2005. In addition to a Windows Service running business rules to maintain control of the fleet.

System Analyst at CIASC - Centro de Informática e Automação de SC
June 2002 - December 2004 (2 years 7 months)
We assembled a whole working method to develop and maintain softwares that includes: -A Request form system, to maintain the client's request and life cycle reference; -UML Models to standardize the specifications and the interface with the software factory (coding); -Project's monitored by MSProject2000. Subsequently, we adopt ISOProject software; -A software that Check Lists new project's kick off and approvals. A team of two, a programmer and I developed an application that integrated databases of street's addresses in the state of Santa Catarina, written in VB.net. This solution required the construction of DTS packages in MsSqlServer2000 (ETL). I performed studies and reports for the implementation of open source solutions like PHP, Java (applets, servlets, JSP), PostgreSQL, MySQL.

Technical Manager at BGS Smartcard Systems AG
March 2001 - September 2001 (7 months)
I built the network structure of Brazil's BGS office, configuring from scratch work stations and a windows 2000 server as the sub-domain to the head office in Austria. Our team set up the control scheme and checklist to customize the company's payment system using smart card technology, and we provide consultancy and technical support in the implementation.

System Analyst at Uniway
October 2000 - February 2001 (5 months)
Our team made the migration plan from web application Deauto.com to Automovel.com. Both softwares were on production, our goal was to standardize them. The software Deauto.com was written in PHP with MySQL and should migrate to Asp 1.0 with 6.5 MSSqlserver to be equal to Automovel.com. There was a major change in the data model and we wrote an custom application to do the data transfer.

I programmed a web application to monitor a big Brazilian bank's auction, Banespa. The site was called 2Besp, written in Asp 1.0 and 6.5 DB MSSQLServer. It was a challenge because there was not many dynamic websites at that time and the only reference I had was a book called Asp Professional 1.0. This web application was on the first page of the biggest Brazilian newspaper (print attached), on the tech's journal.

Internship at the database marketing at Citibank
July 1998 - July 1999 (1 year 1 month)
I used an application called Dataquest to manage a multidimensional database. I managed to merge lists of personal information from many different sources. Data mining, cleaning and maintaining the data was my role. We use Unix servers to host the database in txt. I accessed it, retrieved data and manipulated data in the desktop in order to provide contact information to the telemarketing operators, communications agencies etc.... * Our team won the Best Marketing award in 1998 with the case "Focus Marketing".

Internship Trainee at PUC-Rio
September 1996 - May 1998 (1 year 9 months)
Our team built a network of computers running Windows 3.11. We create data repositories on the network to share files, templates and resources among users. We provide support for applications such as Word, Excel and Access. We have developed applications to support internal activities, we use C and Visual Basic programming language.
